"Hands for Nature"

Two cupped hands rise from the bottom of the wall, palms open beneath a dark turtle shell that floats free above them, a vine winding around the wrists. A teal field behind is threaded with morning glories in purple and deep red, pink blooms and pale butterflies. According to the artist, the hands are the community holding up the life of the arroyo.
