Ranchero Pandillero

"Gangster Ranchero" is a youth program of the non-profit CASA that uses hip-hop culture to reduce violence and substance abuse in San Miguel de Allende. Since 2017, the program has given young people spaces to express themselves through rap, music, and visual art, with a particular focus on graffiti and street art. Its graffiti collective brings together artists from different neighborhoods and styles, helping young people channel their creativity into positive community projects.

Since 2018, Ranchero Pandillero's graffiti artists have created street art throughout San Miguel de Allende, turning the streets into spaces for artistic expression and positive messages. Along with graffiti, the program embraces the four pillars of hip-hop culture—graffiti, DJing, breakdance, and rap—to develop local talent and encourage creativity, community, and peace. Their message is simple: "More lines, less fights."
